The Fox Leadership Development Program (FLDP), is a co-curricular engagement program designed to help you find and participate in activities on campus, throughout the region, and beyond! FLDP is hosted through Suitable, an app and website that helps you track your progress through the program. You will use Suitable to check in at events using the QR code reader built into the app. Any time you scan into an event your attendance is recorded, and points are added to your account automatically. You can check your Suitable account to see your lifetime total points and check your TU inbox for weekly FLDP Point Reports to see your year-to-date points. FLDP renews each year, so even if you earned over 250 points in a previous year, you need to earn 250 new points to stay in good standing in the program. This year, the program will run from August 22, 2022– August 23, 2023, so anything you do over the summer will count toward the 2022-2023 school year.

“FLDP helped set me up for success by giving me a strong networking base as a freshman, it inspired me to be an E-board member in student professional organizations, and to practice a wide variety of competencies through mock interviews, wellness workshops, and speaker events.”
Yes, all full-time (12+ credits) undergraduate students are required to participate and complete the Fox Leadership Development Program. You must earn 250 total points, with at least 20 points in each of the five competencies. See the chart below for a list of competencies.
How do I sign up?
First, head over to the app store on your mobile device and download the Suitable app. Once downloaded, enter your TU email (ex. tuh02558@temple.edu), select your major and any organizations you are involved in, and complete your first activity by finishing your sign-up process. You can also register on the desktop site at www.suitable.co.
How do I earn points?
Check out the Activities tab in Suitable. This tab displays all upcoming point-worthy activities. Each activity lists event details as well as a Level and Competency label. The Level and number of Competencies determines how many points an activity is worth; check out the chart below for point totals.

These activities allow you to earn credit for things you do off campus. To earn credit you will need click the circle on the left side of the activity and follow the instructions. Some activities require a file submission and other require a reflection – instructions will be clearly marked. Refer to this chart to see all the activities you can self-report. Just search the name of the activity and complete the reflection; credit is added to your account when the reflection is approved.

“The Fox Leadership Development Program has made a tremendous impact on my experience at Fox. This program encourages students to be more involved on campus in numerous aspects from philanthropic involvement to financial literacy and professional development. I have been attending as many events as my schedule permits and I have to say, it gives flavor to college life. These enriching experiences with professionals and aspiring peers have contributed to my personal growth, opened my eyes to a whole new world of possibilities, and helped me gain momentum to propel myself towards my goals and aspirations. FLDP allows one to explore, learn, and evaluate their life, passions, and career choices. I was identified by the FLDP office for the first time in November 2019 as one of the top 20 students most involved during that month. The acknowledgment further motivated me to be more intentional with my time allowing me to maximize my experience at Fox.”
