We prefer transcripts be provided via email to . You may also send transcripts via USPS, FedEx, or UPS, or other mail delivery service to: Fox School of Business, 1801 Liacouras Walk, Alter Hall Suite 701, Philadelphia, PA 19122.

Unopened transcripts that are sent from higher education institutions directly to our admissions department via email or direct mail are considered official. Transcripts—regardless of format—that are opened by an applicant prior to being sent to Temple University are not considered official.

I earned undergraduate credits at multiple institutions. Are transcripts required from each of those

Yes. You will need to submit a separate transcript from every institution you attended where you completed six or more credits.

International Applicants

Do I need to submit transcripts in English?

Yes. If academic records are not issued in English, official copies of native language records must be accompanied by a literal translation prepared by an appropriate university or government official. Approved translators can be found at the American Translators Association.

Do international transcripts need to be certified by a credential evaluation organization before....

Although not required, you may choose to submit a photocopy of transcripts to the department or program to which you are applying to accelerate the admissions decision process. You may use services from a credential evaluation organization approved by Temple University—as identified by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services—and request that the evaluation be sent to the Graduate Admissions department.

An English proficiency language test such as the TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo is required if:

  • You have not earned a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree from a U.S. institution

GRE/GMAT Scores

Can I upload an unofficial GRE or GMAT report to my application?

Are GMAT/GRE scores required?

We encourage you to request letters of recommendation from faculty and/or employers who can write about your ability to succeed in graduate study. For applicants to MBA programs, letters of recommendations from your employer/supervisor or previous employer/supervisor are preferred. If you are self-employed, letters may come from long-time clients.

What should I do if my recommender is unresponsive?

You may edit or change your recommenders at any point during the application process, even after you have submitted your application. Our application portal also allows you to resend the recommendation invitation if needed. Note: We encourage you to check on the status of your recommendations via the recommendation section regularly.

Essays

What are the differences between essay 1 and 2?

Essay 1 is required. This essay gives you the opportunity to share your educational and professional goals—and how our program will help you achieve those goals—with the Admissions Committee. Some programs may have an essay question specific to the field of study. Essay 2 is optional. You may use this optional essay to present additional information to the admissions committee. We recommend providing Essay 2 to address specific circumstances regarding your application, such as an undergraduate GPA below 3.0.

Is there a word limit for my essays?

No, however, we prefer essays to be 500 – 750 words.
