Board of Visitors

A Message from the Chairman of the Board of Visitors

I am happy to serve as Chairman as our board explores what is possible at the Fox School of Business. I have a long history as a student, researcher, alumnus, friend and supporter of the school; I am all-in on the Fox School’s mission to provide an excellent education to all, regardless of their means. As a board, we use our expertise, experience, network and success to further that mission in service to the Temple community. As you will read below, the board is a tremendous network of successful and prominent alumni and friends dedicated to providing counsel to our leaders, to mentoring and coaching our students, to act as ambassadors beyond campus and to be key investors in student scholarships and outcomes. We dream of what is possible for our students, our alumni and our school.

History

The Fox School’s Board of Visitors was formed in 2019, after the dissolution of the Dean’s Council. Board members are invited from among some of the school’s most prominent, successful and impactful alumni and friends to create a circle of leaders who serve as advisors, ambassadors and investors. These women and men serve to better student outcomes and advance the personal and professional lives of our alumni community through the school. These leaders provide counsel to administrators, faculty and staff; many have served as mentors to students and participate in our graduate student coaching program; they enhance and broaden alumni networks in their sphere of influence and have staked their belief in our students through the creation of scholarships that award merit and meet the needs of scholars.
