Sheri Lambert can’t wait to share her vision for the future, especially now that she has taken on a new role as managing director of the Fox School’s Center for Executive Education.
“It’s an exciting time for the Center with its increased ability to do more virtual workshops and training,” says Lambert, an assistant professor at Fox. “We are not limited to a region-specific area. We can truly have cohorts made up of professionals across the globe.”
That global reach is familiar territory for Lambert, considering she’s held senior leadership positions within some of the world’s largest marketing research consulting firms including Ipsos and Kantar Group. Prior to joining the Fox School’s Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management, Lambert was chief marketing officer at Big Sofa Technologies and a member of its Global PLC Board.
“As someone who enjoys learning by doing, I truly believe the Fox Center for Executive Education is a great avenue for people to never stop learning,” Lambert says. “The Center really broadens and enables industry leaders to stay ahead of the curve.”
The Center for Executive Education fulfills a need in the marketplace for individuals and organizations seeking cutting-edge business knowledge, fresh perspectives and just-in-time training that identifies and closes skill gaps necessary to become even more effective business leaders.
“Sheri brings to the Center for Executive Education contagious curiosity and excitement about developing business leaders across a wide range of industries and roles,” says colleague TL Hill, managing director of Fox Management Consulting and the Translational Research Center. “Her experience, extensive network and joyful approach to learning will help the Center inspire and develop an ever-growing number of executives.”
Lambert has an MBA with a focus in marketing from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and a BS in industrial engineering from Purdue University. She is devoted to community and charity work, sitting on various boards and committees including the Greater Philadelphia UNICEF, breastcancer.org and the Philadelphia Charity Ball.
Looking forward, Lambert says she’s exploring opportunities to expand the Center for Executive Education’s reach through custom and open enrollment programs.
“It’s about fit, really,” she says. “We know how to select the faculty, facilitators and speakers that fit the content, the organization and the industry context. We know how to deliver exactly what is needed.”
