On March 25, 2022, the Fox School of Business’ Center for Ethics, Diversity and Inclusion, the Institute for Business Technology, the Translational Research Center and Emtec Inc. co-sponsored the Digital Transformation of Workforce Development Summit.

Through the common thread of digital transformation, participants focused on how companies were adapting to changes in work expectations and needs, and discussed topics such as employee engagement and inclusion, the strengths and challenges of the hybrid or remote workplaces, as well as the importance of talent development and retention.

As the summit concluded, participants posed several research questions—such as how hybrid work models may evolve over the next few years—to encourage ongoing contemplation of digital transformation’s role in the future of work.
