The Center for Executive Education at Fox is coming off of an amazing summer filled with incredible accomplishments.
First, please join me in extending our congratulations to our newest group of EMBA alumni from around the world—the class of 2016! We are so proud of you and look forward to staying engaged with you as you take the next steps in your careers.
We’ve been working hard to offer our students and alumni more opportunities to connect and network with each other outside of the classroom. In June and September, we hosted events at Independence Beer Garden and at Di Bruno Brothers. Both were great opportunities for alumni to reconnect, for prospective students to see what the Executive MBA program is all about, and for everyone to enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed setting. I hope you’ll join us for our holiday party on December 8, and stay tuned for other opportunities to meet Fox EMBA students and alums.
This July, we welcomed our Paris EMBA cohort to Philadelphia, where they completed their statistics course and got to immerse themselves in the Philadelphia business landscape and American culture. Both the Paris and Philadelphia cohorts had the opportunity to meet and network at an event at Barbuzzo. These opportunities to connect with others from around the world is a continuing point of pride for our program.
We are also committed to our students’ ongoing professional development. In August, we launched RoadMap, a tool exclusive to the Fox School of Business, for our class of 2017. RoadMap is a tool that allows students to track their progress towards their individual goals, and to measure their strengths in real time as they prepare for business leadership. If you’d like to learn more about RoadMap, please click here.
We’ve been equally busy with our non-credit executive education programs. Over the summer, we launched partnerships to provide business education and leadership training to several organizations, including the Rothman Institute, the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Nemours and Jefferson Pediatrics, and others. More to come on this exciting endeavor soon, but if your organization is interested in developing skills in its leaders and emerging leaders, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Though Temple’s academic semester officially began in late August, the Executive MBA students—alongside our world-class faculty—have been hard at work all summer long. We’re so proud of all that our current cohort has accomplished so far, and we know that our alumni are doing great things as well. Please take a moment to visit the form linked to in this newsletter to tell us what you’re up to now. We are eager to celebrate your accomplishments alongside you!
