Dr. Fairfax is a recognized leader in human resources and talent management with over 20 years of progressive international experience in research and scientific organizations and non-profit organizations. He currently serves as the Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer at RTI International responsible for corporate oversight of Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion and Corporate Communications. His previous positions at RTI include Senior Vice President, Strategic Talent Management, Vice President and Senior HR Business Partner, and Vice President for HR and International Offices. He has also held HR leadership and key positions at Conservation International and ChildFund International serving his professional career in international non-profits with social and environmental impact.
Bucky holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Temple University, an MBA from Averett University, a Bachelors in English from Virginia Commonwealth University, a certificate for Advanced HR Executive from the University of Michigan, and is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resources Management.
