Renée Hartwell is currently the assistant director in Temple University’s Center for Executive Education, where she is responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of all customized and open enrollment programs. Renée’s portfolio is varied—she works with several clients implementing large scale custom designed workshop series, including Rothman Orthopaedics, Reinvestment Fund, Merck and more. Additionally, Renée manages the center’s flagship open enrollment program, the Women’s Leadership Series. This program is one that Renée is passionate about and she greatly enjoys contributing to the professional development of women.

Renée has worked in executive education for several years, most recently working at Wharton Executive Education prior to joining the team at the center. Renée finds excitement in providing learning and development opportunities to adult learners. To help further this excitement, she received her master of education in adult and organizational development from Temple University in 2022, where she learned about adult learning theories and practices.

Outside of work, Renée serves as the co-chair of the programming committee for the Temple Women’s Network, a Temple University alumnae board, where she plans and delivers professional and personal development events to Temple alumnae so they can stay connected to the university.

Renée has resided in Philadelphia for over 10 years, and currently lives in Roxborough with her fiancé and dog.
